The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America maintains over 30 chapters located throughout the country, including one Internet-based chapter. Our chapters offer a wide variety of patient-oriented services, including support groups, public and medical professional education forums, newsletters, and local help-lines. Our chapters are also able to provide patients and their families with information on local resources. We encourage all patients to contact their local chapter for more information on their programs.
All of our chapters are led by volunteers, and are highly reliant upon volunteers to fulfill their missions. If you are interested in assisting your local chapter, please submit a volunteer interest form by clicking on "How Can I Help?"
If there is no chapter or support group in your area and you would like to start one, please contact the national office.
Additionally, if there is not chapter or support group in your area you may find useful services via MGNet at www.mgfa-mgnet.org. The first chapter of any major health organization in the world to be located in cyberspace.
