Assistant Secretary of State Ellen Sauerbrey to Speak on the U.S. Role in the Protection of Refugee and Displaced Women and Girls

Ellen Sauerbrey, Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees and Migration, will talk about the U.S. role in the protection of refugee and displaced women and girls on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor Conference Room of the law offices of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, 666 Fifth Avenue (at 53rd Street), New York, NY 10103-0001. A question and answer period with the audience will follow the lecture.

The event is being sponsored by the Women's Foreign Policy Group and the Women's Commission for Refugee Women and Children. Representatives from the United Nations, non-governmental organizations, foundations, law firms and members of the diplomatic community will be attending.
