Special Briefing on US-DPRK Bilateral Working Group Meeting

Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Christopher R. Hill will brief the press on Wednesday, August 29, at 3 p.m. on developments in the Six-Party Talks in advance of the upcoming U.S.-DPRK bilateral working group meeting scheduled to take place on September 1-2, in Geneva, Switzerland. This briefing will be on-the-record and on camera and will take place in the Department of State's Press Briefing Room (Room 2209).

Media representatives may attend this briefing upon presentation of the following at the 23rd Street Entrance: (1) a U.S. Government-issued media identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
