Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources Accepts Award for Department of State’s Post Personnel System

Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Human Resources Linda S. Taglialatela has accepted an award on behalf of the U.S. Department of State for the Post Personnel System. Post Personnel was selected among its competitors as the “Best Application Consolidating Disparate HR Systems.” The award was presented at the Annual Human Capital Management for Defense Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, February 27 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA.

Post Personnel is a web-based human resources management and tracking system used domestically and overseas. The central capture of Post Personnel data has enabled the Department to share it with all federal agencies with an overseas presence. Across the board, Post Personnel has resulted in a considerable increase in the confidence of U.S. government employee and position data under Chiefs of Mission authority.
