Secretary Rice to Make Remarks at Commemoration of the 225th Anniversary of the Great Seal of the United States

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the National Archivist of the United States, Allen Weinstein will make remarks at the Great Seal of the United States Exhibit on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall of the Department of State. The exhibition marks the 225th anniversary of the Great Seal.

This event is open for press coverage.

Pre-set time for cameras: 11:00 a.m. from the 23rd Street Entrance
Final access time for all press: 11:45 a.m. from the 23rd Street Entrance

Media representatives may cover the this event upon presentation of the following at the 23rd Street Entrance: (1) a U.S. Government-issued media identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
