Special Press Briefing: U.S. – Palestinian Partnership

This afternoon, Monday, February 11, there will be a special briefing at 3:30 p.m on the U.S.- Palestinian Partnership, a new initiative on economic opportunity for the Palestinian people, with a special focus on opportunities for Palestinian youth. USAID Administrator and Director of Foreign Assistance Henrietta H. Fore, along with Partnership representatives will brief reporters on current activities. This on-the-record, on-camera briefing will take place in the State Department’s Press Briefing Room (2209).

Members of the press wishing to attend this briefing who do not have a Department of State building pass should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance by 3:00 p.m. to clear security procedures.

Media representatives may attend this briefing upon presentation of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued media identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
