U.S.-Israel Strategic Dialogue

Under Secretary for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns will host on June 7 a senior Israeli delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz as part of our ongoing dialogue to discuss the strategic cooperation between our two countries. The United States attaches the highest importance to these interagency meetings. We welcome the opportunity to discuss a broad range of issues that characterize our close relationship with a key ally and friend, including regional stability, Iran, Israel's long-term economic development, and military security requirements. These talks reflect the deep historical and security ties between the United States and Israel, based on our shared values and common interests.
