Secretary Rice To Visit the Harriet Tubman SchoolSecretary of State Condoleezza Rice will join Congressman Charlie Rangel (NY-15) on a visit to Public School No. 154, the Harriet Tubman School, on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 10:40 a.m.
Congressman Rangel invited Secretary Rice to visit this school and observe the continuing progress being made through the leadership of Principal Elizabeth Jarrett in improving the educational environment for its students, as well as their academic performance. The Harriet Tubman School is in the Congressman's district.
Secretary Rice's remarks will be open for press coverage.
Media should arrive no later than 9:30a.m. at 250 West 127th Street, New York City, New York.
