[State Department photo]Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice traveled to Nassau, The Bahamas, to participate in a meeting with CARICOM foreign ministers. The Secretary discussed U.S. engagement in the Caribbean and our desire to deepen cooperation with countries in the region to promote democracy, enhance economic competitiveness, strengthen security and the rule of law, and improve disaster preparedness. The Secretary also met with Bahamian Prime Minister Perry Christie to discuss U.S.-Bahamian relations. [Photo Gallery]
