Task Force Fugitive Arrest, Southern District of California: On 2/1/08,
investigators from the San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force (SDRFTF) arrested Raymond
Young. Young was wanted by the Baton Rouge (Louisiana) Police Department for his
role in the armed robbery of a pharmacy on 4/3/07. Investigators from the Middle
Louisiana Fugitive Task Force obtained information that Young was living in the
San Diego area and working under an alias. MLFTF requested the assistance from
the SDRFTF who, with critical assistance from TOG, located and arrested Young
without incident. Young is also considered a suspect by the ATF for his
involvement in armed robberies of pharmacies in Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Task Force Fugitive Arrest, Middle District of Louisiana: On 2/1/08,
Denako “Mutt” Duheart surrendered with his attorney at the East Baton Rouge
Parish Prison. Duheart was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department for 1st
Degree Murder, conspiracy to commit 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated
Kidnapping. The charges against Duheart stem from a Halloween night murder of a
subject that was beaten over two days and found burned in Baton Rouge. MLFTF
investigators conducted an intensive three month investigation to locate Duheart
that resulted in the arrest of two of Duheart’s brothers. Duheart’s surrender
was a direct result of constant pressure from MLFTF investigators. Duheart is
also a suspect in two other slayings of persons believed to be witnesses in the
initial homicide. |
