THE LONE STAR FUGITIVE TASK FORCE ARRESTS
ROGERS ANTHONY MARSHALL

Lone Star Fugitive Task Force LogoWaco, TX - A career felon’s latest run from the law came to an end today at the hands of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Rogers Marshall was wanted by the City of Waco Police Dept. for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Burglary of a Habitation, and Terroristic Threats. Marshall is the primary suspect in a recent series of violent crimes against women. It is alleged he would forcibly point a pistol at a women’s head and pull the trigger in a morbid game of Russian Roulette.

Based on this allegation, as well as his prior convictions for Manslaughter and illegal possession of a firearm, he immediately became the number one target for the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.

Task Force members developed a new location for Marshall in Waco, TX and established surveillance. After the fugitive was seen inside the residence, Task Force members attempted to make contact with no results. After a short while, Task Force members made entry and observed Marshall entering a bedroom. After immediately taking cover, Task Force members were able to successfully convince Marshall to surrender peacefully.

United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas LaFayette Collins said, “The pursuit of this fugitive highlights what the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force does. We have taken a violent offender off the streets.”

Participating Agencies: Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Intelligence Division an the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, led by the United States Marshals Service in the Western District of Texas.
