THE LONE STAR FUGITIVE TASK FORCE ARRESTS DAVID GLENN CLANCY
San
Antonio – The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested
David Glenn
Clancy for the felony offense of "Retaliation". Clancy had blamed a
San Antonio area school when, resulting from an investigation
stemming from an anonymous tip, Child Protective Services recently
removed his children from his home. Clancy called the school and
made threats of physical violence against the teachers, their
families, and friends.
San Antonio School District Police, a
Lone Star Fugitive Task Force member agency, investigated the
threats and obtained an arrest warrant for Clancy. Clancy had
recently boasted of having a cache of weapons at his disposal.
Careful planning and coordination between the Lone Star Fugitive
Task Force and the New Crime Response Unit of the San Antonio Police
Department resulted in Clancy being arrested without incident. The
arrest occurred at Clancy’s residence located in the 1400 block of
Pasadena.
United States Marshal for the Western
District of Texas LaFayette Collins said, “The Lone Star Fugitive
Task Force is dedicated to assuring that our children are safe from
those that seek to do them harm. "When someone threatens children or
those that our children are in the care of, they will get the
combined attention of all of law enforcement."
