Visit the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Website To initiate its oversight function of the United States Postal Service Chairman Davis convened a hearing of the Subcommittee on Federal Workforce, Postal Service, and the District of Columbia on April 17, 2007 to take testimony providing an overview of the USPS's operation and business practices; mail growth and delivery services; and infrastructure and realignment. Link to "Postal 101" hearing testimony On Thursday, May 10, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., Chairman Davis convened the Federal Workforce, Postal Service, and the District of Columbia Subcommittee for a hearing entitled, “Ensuring Diversity at Senior Levels of the Federal Government and the U.S. Postal Service.” This hearing was held to continue the Subcommittee’s oversight of diversity at the highest levels of the federal government and the U.S. Postal Service.
