Programs and Activities

The Boulder Canyon Operations Office works closely with numerous external organizations and agencies, and with other Reclamation offices to manage the lower Colorado River to meet Reclamation's water and power delivery obligations, protect endangered species and their habitat, enhance recreation, and provide flood control according to the "Law of the River". The office also measures and accounts for Colorado River water use, adminsters water delivery contracts, and oversees the regional water conservation program which encourages water conservation and management to increase the availability and effectiveness of Colorado River water use.
