Reclamation to Host Public Meeting in Albuquerque for Managing for Excellence Project
The Bureau of Reclamation today announced that it will hold a meeting to inform the public about the Managing for Excellence project on February 27 and 28 in Albuquerque N.M. This meeting is the fourth public meeting to inform the public about the action items, progress, and results of the project and to seek broad feedback.

The meeting will be held: February 27, 2007: 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. February 28, 2007: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Albuquerque Marriott 2101 Louisiana Blvd. NE Albuquerque, N.M. 87110-5401

The Managing for Excellence Project will identify and address the specific 21st Century challenges Reclamation must meet to fulfill its mission to manage, develop, and protect water and related resources in an environmentally and economically sound manner in the interest of the American public.

Although you may register the day of the conference between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., we highly encourage you to pre-register for the conference online at www.usbr.gov/excellence or by phone at 303-445-2808. Please direct requests for sign language interpretation for the hearing impaired, or other auxiliary aids, to Staci Link at 303-445-2808 by February 14.
