The Bethune Council House plans annual youth workshops that are free to the general public, provide lunch to all participants, and conduct activities which are supervised by park rangers. These workshops are themed around the following topics: Adopt and Object, There's History in Things, Just the facts about Artifacts, Artifacts Search Contest, Genealogy Contest, Community Stories, Photo Contest, and the Alert Game.

Did You Know?
Eleanor Roosevelt twice came to Daytona Beach, Florida, as the guest of Mary McLeod Bethune. She stayed in Mrs. Bethune's home on the campus of the Bethune-Cookman College.
