Quality Managementat Brookhaven National LaboratoryProvides technical assistance to ensure that departments and divisions fulfill the BNL Quality Assurance Program. The QP&SO has changed to the Quality Management Office (QMO), as of Nov. 10, 2003. This change is a part of reorganization of the operations support structure that was announced by the Lab Director. This reorganization resulted in the Performance-Based Management functions under the Office of Management Services (OMS), the Standards-Based Management System (SBMS) office and the former QP&SO merging into the Quality Management Office. It is the mission of the Quality Management Office to be an aggressive advocate for – and support the line organization in – developing programs, activities, and services that perpetuate the integration of Quality, Environmental, and Integrated Safety Management principles throughout Brookhaven National Laboratory.
