KSL Services' new Fix It Now program offers quick repairs of minor maintenance issues in non-laboratory, non-hazard areas, such as offices. The goal is that within 48 hours, the team will complete specific requests, such as minor re-lamping, plumbing repairs, minor carpentry that does not require penetration of walls or structures. The new service has reduced costs while also decreasing response time. Go to the
"Footprints" Web page to fill out a request for a maintenance repair. Once a request for repair is completed, it is routed to the area facility manager for prioritization.
