L. 92-463; 5 U.S.C. app. III), notice is given of an ARAC meeting to be held on July 1, 1999, at the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, 535 Garden Avenue, N., Building 10-16, Renton, WA. The agenda will include: Opening remarks. FAA/JAA Harmonization Meeting Report. JAA Report. FAA Report. Performance Standards Working Group (PSWG) Report and Vote. The PSWG plans to request a vote for formal FAA legal and economic reviews of a proposed notice addressing means of illumination to assist people descending from an airplane to the ground. Attendance is open to the public, but will be limited to space available. The public must make arrangements by June 24 to present oral statements at the meeting. Written statements may be presented to the committee any time by providing 25 copies to the Assistant Executive Director for Emergency Evacuation Issues or by providing copies at the meeting. In addition, sign and oral interpretation, as well as a listening device, can be made available if requested 10 calendar days before the meeting.
