These objects are imported pursuant to loan agreements with foreign lenders. I also determine that the exhibition or display of the exhibit objects at The National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., from on or about May 23, 1999, until on or about August 22, 1999, The Metropolitan Museum, New York, N.Y., from on or about September 27, 1999, to on or about January 2, 2000 is in the national interest.
