Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

December 23, 1999.
    Take notice that on December 20, 1999, Tennessee Gas Pipeline 
Company (Tennessee), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Fifth Revised Volume No. 1, Original Sheet No. 656A. Tennessee 
requests an effective date of December 13, 1999.
    Tennessee states that it is filing the hard copy of Original Sheet 
No. 656A in compliance with the Commission's December 10, 1999 Letter 
Order in the above-referenced docket. Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, 
89 FERC (61,260 (1999)). Tennessee further states that the hard copy of 
the tariff sheet is being filed now since it was inadvertently omitted 
from its original November 12, 1999 filing in this docket.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
