St. Charles Riverfront Station, Inc., Civil Action No. 4:99CV01978SNL (E.D.Mo.), with the Untied States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. The proposed consent decree would resolve the United States' allegations that Defendant St. Charles Riverfront Station violated sections 301 and 404 of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. 1311 and 1344, and section 12 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, 33 U.S.C. 406, by unlawfully discharging dredged material into the Missouri River in St. Charles County, Missouri. The proposed consent decree would require Defendant to pay a $550,000 civil penalty. The proposed decree also provides that Defendant is enjoined from discharging pollutants into waters of the United [[Page 73585]] States except as authorized by the Clean Water Act and Rivers and Harbors Act. The Department of Justice will accept written comments relating to the proposed consent decree for thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice.
