L. 106-37; Docket No. 1039] Designation of Board's Liaison Under the Y2K Act AGENCY: Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. ACTION: Notice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The Board has appointed Howard Amer, Assistant Director, Division of Banking Supervision and Regulation, to act as the Board's liaison for purposes of section 18 of the Y2K Act, Pub. L. 106-37. Mr. Amer has directed the efforts of the Board's Division of Banking Supervision and Regulation with regard to the Y2K readiness of Federal Reserve supervised financial institutions. Mr. Amer will act as the liaison between the Board and small business concerns regulated or supervised by the Board with respect to problems arising out of Y2K failures and compliance with Federal rules or regulations. A small business concern as defined by section 18 (a)(3) of the Y2K Act means an unincorporated business, a partnership, corporation, association, or organization, with fewer than 50 full-time employees.
