The notice was published in the Federal Register on October 14, 1999 (64 FR 55750). At the request of the State agency, the Department reviewed the certification for workers of the subject firm. New information shows that workers of Modine Aftermarket Holdings, Inc. were leased from Remedy Temps to produce radiators for automobiles and trucks at the Merced, California plant. Worker separations occurred at Remedy Temps as a result of worker separations at Modine Aftermarket Holdings, Inc., Merced, California. Based on these findings, the Department is amending the certification to include workers from Remedy Temps, Merced, California leased to Modine Aftermarket Holdings, Inc., Merced, California. The intent of the Department's certification is to include all workers of Modine Aftermarket Holdings, Inc. adversely affected by imports. The amended notice applicable to TA-W-36,657 is hereby issued as follows: All workers of Modine Aftermarket Holdings, Inc. Merced, California and leased workers of Remedy Temps, Merced, California engaged in employment related to the production of radiators for automobiles and trucks for Modine Aftermarket Holdings, Inc., Merced, California who became totally or partially separated from employment on or after July 19, 1998 through August 27, 2001 are eligible to apply for adjustment assistance under section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.
