Take notice that on January 5, 1999, Kern River Gas Transmission Company (Kern River) tendered as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, with an effective date of December 1, 1998: Second Substitute Second Revised Sheet No. 96 Fourth Revised Sheet No. 96 Kern River states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the Commission's letter order dated December 21, 1998, directing Kern River to file revised tariff sheets stating that, in addition to providing notification to bumped shippers via EBB and Internet E-mail, Kern River will notify bumped shippers by telephone or telecopier. Kern River states that a copy of this filing has been served upon each person designated on the official service list compiled by the Secretary in this proceeding. Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as provided in section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations.
