Take notice that on September 9, 1999, CNG Transmission Corporation (CNG) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheet, with an effective date of August 25, 1999: Substitute Original Sheet No. 397 CNG states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the August 25, 1999, letter order. Consistent with the order CNG states that it has deleted the fifth discount category and replaced ``reservation charge'' with ``maximum rate'' in the sixth discount category. CNG states that copies of its letter of transmittal and enclosures are being served upon its customers and to interested state commissions. Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations.
