ACTION: Notice of public meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The Glen Canyon Technical Work Group (TWG) was formed as an official subcommittee of the Glen Canyon Adaptive Management Work Group (AMWG) on September 10, 1997. The TWG members were named by the members of the AMWG and provide advice and information to the AMWG to act upon. The AMWG uses this information to form recommendations to the Secretary of the Interior (Secretary) for guidance of the Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center science program and other direction as requested by the Secretary. All meetings are open to the public; however, seating is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. Dates and Location: The TWG public meeting will be held on the following dates and location: Phoenix, Arizona--February 23-24, 1999. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. on the first day and begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. on the second day. The two-day meeting will be held at the Arizona Department of Water Resources, 500 North 3rd Street, Phoenix, Arizona. Agenda: The purpose of the meeting is to review the Fiscal Year 2000 Annual Plan for the Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center. Time will be allowed on the agenda for any organization or individual wishing to make formal oral comments (limited to 10 minutes) at the meeting, but written notice must be provided to Mr..
