Chapter 35), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Secretariat has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a currently approved information collection requirement concerning Delivery Schedules. A request for public comments was published at 63 FR 65757, November 30, 1998. No comments were received. DATES: Comments may be submitted on or before March 10, 1999. Purpose The time of delivery or performance is an essential contract element and must be clearly stated in solicitations and contracts. The contracting officer may set forth a required delivery schedule or may allow an offeror to propose an alternate delivery schedule. The information is needed to assure supplies or services are obtained in a timely manner. B. Annual Reporting Burden Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 10 minutes per completion, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. The annual reporting burden is estimated as follows: Respondents, 3,440; responses per respondent, 5; total annual responses, 17,200; preparation hours per response, .167; and total response burden hours, 2,872.
