SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: A. Purpose A fixed-price contract with economic price adjustment provides for upward and downward revision of the stated contract price upon occurrence of specified contingencies. In order for the contracting officer to be aware of price changes, the firm must provide pertinent information to the Government. The information is used to determine the proper amount of price adjustments required under the contract. B. Annual Reporting Burden Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 15 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. The annual reporting burden is estimated as follows: Respondents, 7,200; responses per respondent, 1; total annual responses, 7,200; preparation hours per response, .25; and total response burden hours, 1,800.
