South Atlantic Fishery Management Council; Public Meeting

AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and 
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of public meeting.

SUMMARY: The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will 
hold a meeting to coordinate with state artificial reef program 
coordinators on the review and consideration of establishing artificial 
reefs as marine fishery reserves, or ``artificial refugia'' in the 
South Atlantic.

DATES: The meeting will be held on May 13, 1999 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 
p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Although other issues not contained in this 
agenda may come before the Council for discussion, in accordance with 
the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, those 
issues may not be the subject of formal action during this meeting. 
Action will be restricted to those issues specifically identified in 
this notice.
