SUMMARY: The Lewistown Resource Advisory Council will meet February 9 and 10, 1999, at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 4 Office, 4600 Giant Springs Road, Great Falls, Montana. The February 9 portion of this meeting will begin at 7:45 a.m. Throughout the day the council will elect officers for the coming year; hear two presentations concerning cottonwood regeneration along the Upper Missouri River; discuss increased visitor use along the Upper Missouri River; discuss U.S. Forest Service involvement with the Resource Advisory Councils; and hear presentations concerning grazing permit renewals and two areas of critical environmental concern. The session will adjourn at 4:30 p.m. The February 10 portion of this meeting will begin at 7:45 a.m. The council will hear presentations concerning off-highway vehicle use on public lands; land exchanges; prairie dogs; range improvement projects; and the Sun River Project. There will be a public comment period at 11:30 a.m. This session will adjourn at 3:30 p.m. DATES: February 9 and 10, 1999.
