SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This orientation meeting of the Native and Indigenous Rights Advisory Panel will review sections of the Magnuson- Stevens Act pertaining to the Western Pacific Community Development Program and Demonstration Projects, past actions of the Western Pacific Council which relate to indigenous fishing practices and access to fisheries and possible future actions of the Council such as a Community Development Program for the Hawaii Mau Zone bottomfish fishery. Although other issues not contained in this agenda may come before this group for discussion, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, those issues may not be the subject of formal action during this meeting.
