Cook Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, located in Berrien [[Page 535]] County, Michigan. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of this amendment was published in the Federal Register on December 31, 1997 (62 FR 68308). The purpose of the licensee's amendment request was to revise the Technical Specifications (TS) to allow filling of the emergency core cooling system (ESSC) accumulators without declaring the ECCS equipment inoperable. Subsequently, the licensee informed the staff that the amendment is no longer required. Thus, the amendment application is considered to be withdrawn by the licensee.
