Description of Project: The proposed project would utilize the Corps of Engineer's Kentucky L&D #4 dam and consist of the following: (1) two 72-inch-diameter, 50-foot-long penstocks, constructed in the existing outlet works; (2) a powerhouse containing two generating units with a combined total capacity of 2.5 MW and an estimated average annual generation of 15.0 Gwh; and (3) a 300-foot-long transmission line. l.
