Viking Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Filing Refund Report

June 17, 1999.
    Take notice that on June 14, 1999, Viking Gas Transmission Company 
(Viking) tendered for filing a report of refunds in accordance with the 
Offer of Settlement and Stipulation and Agreement (Settlement) filed by 
Viking on March 16, 1999 in the above-referenced docket and approved by 
the Commission by order issued May 12, 1999.
    Viking states that copies of this filing have been served on all 
parties designated on the official service list in this proceeding, on 
all Viking's jurisdictional customers and to affected state regulatory 
commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission,

888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with section 
385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protest 
must be filed on or before June 24, 1999. Protests will be considered 
by the Commission in determine the appropriate action to be taken, but 
will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies 
of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for 
public inspection in the Public Reference Room. This filing may be
