On March 14, 1999, the Commission issued a notice of the application for preliminary permit filed by Alpine Power Company for the Stuyvesant Falls Hydroelectric Project, to be located on Kinderhook Creek, in Columbia County, New York. The notice established July 13, 1999, as the deadline for filing motions to intervene. On July 16, 1999, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation filed a late motion to intervene. Granting the late motion to intervene will not unduly delay or disrupt the proceeding or prejudice any other party to it.
