Take notice that on December 22, 1998, Kentucky Utilities Company filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission seeking authority, pursuant to Section 204 of the Federal Power Act, to issue not more than $250,000,000 of short-term debt on or before November 30, 2000 with a final maturity no later than November 30, 2001. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 or 385.214). All such motions or protests should be filed on or before January 15, 1999.
