Postponement of Preliminary Determination The Department of Commerce (the Department) is postponing the preliminary determination in the antidumping duty investigation of live cattle from Canada. The deadline for issuing the preliminary determination in this investigation is now no later than June 30, 1999. On December 30, 1998, the Department published its initiation of an antidumping investigation of live cattle from Canada. See Initiation of Antidumping Duty Investigations: Live Cattle from Canada and Mexico, 63 FR 71886, 71889. The notice stated we would issue our preliminary determination by May 11, 1999. The petitioners' request for postponement was timely, and the Department finds no compelling reason to deny the request. Therefore, we are postponing the deadline for issuing this determination until no later than June 30, 1999. This extension is in accordance with section 733(c) of the Act and 19 CFR 351.205(b)(2).
