ACTION: Proposed rule. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition filed by Mountain West Broadcasting seeking the allotment of Channel 293C1 to Shiprock, NM, as the community's first local aural service. Channel 293C1 can be allotted to Shiprock in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements without the imposition of a site restriction, at coordinates 36-47-08 NL; 108-41-11. DATES: Comments must be filed on or before June 1, 1999, and reply comments on or before June 16, 1999.
