ACTION: Notice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: This document solicits comment on a report filed by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International, Inc., Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association, National Association of State Nine-One-One Administrators, and National Emergency Number Association, regarding issues, particularly issues pertaining to cost recovery mechanisms and choice of Phase I transmission technologies, that may be delaying implementation of Phase I of the Commission's program to improve wireless E911 service. This action is taken to ensure that all Commission decisions regarding wireless E911 are based on the most complete and accurate information possible, and to ensure that optimum wireless E911 service is achieved as soon as possible.
