    Title: Reporting of International Capital and Foreign Currency 
Transactions and Positions, 31 CFR Part 128.
    Description: 31 CFR Part 128 establishes general guidelines for 
reporting on United States claims on and liabilities to foreigners; on 
transactions in securities with foreigners; and on monetary reserves of 
the United States. It also establishes guidelines for reporting on the 
foreign currency transactions of U.S. persons. It includes a 
recordkeeping requirement, Sec. 128.5.
    Respondents: Business or other for-profit.
    Estimated Number of Recordkeepers: 2,000.
    Estimated Burden Hours Per Recordkeeper: 3 hours.
    Frequency of Response: On occasion.
    Estimated Total Recordkeeping Burden: 6,000 hours.
