The Purchaser Agreement would resolve certain potential EPA claims under Section 107 of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. 9607, against the New Kensington Community Development Corporation (``Purchaser''). The settlement would require the Purchaser to, among other things, deliver the sum of $64,800 of the purchase price to the United States at the time of closing and abide by certain land use restrictions intended to protect public health and welfare. For thirty (30) days following the date of publication of this notice, the Agency will receive written comments relating to the proposed Purchaser Agreement. The Agency's response to any comments received will be available for public inspection at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region III, 1650 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
