AGENCY: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, DoD.

ACTION: Extension of comment period.

SUMMARY: Notice of Availability for the Rio de Flag Flood Control Study 
Draft Environmental Impact Statement was published in the Federal 
Register, Volume 64, No. 223 on November 19, 1999. The public comment 
is scheduled to conclude on January 4, 2000. However, in response to 
requests received from the public, the comment period will be extended 
two weeks and comments will be due on January 18, 2000.
