Fees & Reservations

There are no fees for:

Park Entrance, Activities, Education Programs, or Hunting Permits.

Naturalist Activities and Resource Education Programs are available with reservations, or on selected weekends. Please call 409-951-6725 for information or to make reservations.

Camping

Back Country Camping Only

Fees Free!

Backcountry camping is available. Campers must have a valid Preserve issued Backcountry Use Permit to camp in designated areas. Permits can be obtained at the Visitor Center or Headquarters offices.

Did You Know?
Big Thicket has four insect-eating plants. These are pitcher plants, sundews, bladderworts, and butterworts.
