Take notice that on January 12, 1997, Eastern Shore Natural Gas Company (Eastern Shore) tendered for filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a Refund Report showing that on December 17, 1997, it issued refunds to its customers as required by the Stipulation and Agreement in Docket No. RP97-32-000. Eastern Shore states that the refunds totaled $145,964.80 including interest of $4,004.93. The refunds were calculated for the period April 14, 1997 to October 31, 1997. Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests should be filed on or before February 5, 1998. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
