Title: Federal Credit Union Charter Application, Community Charter Conversion/Expansion Application, and Field of Membership Amendments. Description: The Federal Credit Union (FCU) Act and Credit Union Membership Access (CUMA) Act set forth the requirements for establishing a credit union based on a type of field of membership. The data collection is necessary to determine that the application for the new charter/amendment is in compliance with the FCU and CUMA Acts. Respondents: Individuals or groups wishing to charter a credit union and credit unions wishing to expand their field of membership or convert their current type of field of membership to another.
