Take notice that on June 29, 1998, Discovery Gas Transmission LLC (Discovery) tendered for filing the tariff sheets listed on Attachment A to the filing, to become effective August 1, 1998. Discovery states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the Commission's order issued April 16, 1998, in Docket No. RM96-1-007. Discovery states that the instant filing reflects changes to the General Terms and Conditions of Discovery's Tariff required to implement standards issued by GISB and adopted by the Commission in Order 587-G, issued April 16, 1998, in Docket No. RM 96-1-007. The filing also includes changes required by Commission Regulations Section 284.10(c)(3) (ii) through (v), including posting to Discovery's Internet web site of information required by GISB Standard 4.3.6. Discovery is also implementing changes to its FERC Gas Tariff reflecting the adoption of Section 284.10(c)(3)(i) of the Regulations relating to Internet web site communication of electronic information and transactions using the public Internet. Discovery states that copies of this filing are being mailed to its customers, state commissions and other interested parties. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
