Abstract: This rule would establish uniform standards and procedures by 
which the Department of the Interior, through its agencies that 
administer rivers in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System (Bureau 
of Land Management, Fish and Wildlife Service, and National Park 
Service), will consider Federal licensing of, or assistance to, water 
resources projects affecting designated Wild and Scenic Rivers or 
congressionally authorized Study Rivers.
