summary: The Southwest Oregon PIEC Advisory Committee will meet on 
August 25, 1998 in Gold Beach, Oregon.
    The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m. 
Agenda items to be covered include: (1) review of committee operating 
guides; (2) final version of issues and work plan for Advisory 
Committee; (3) demonstration of compact disk containing geographic 
information across all ownerships within the province; (4) local issue 
presentation by Siskiyou National Forest; (5) Timber, monitoring, and 
aquatic conservation strategy subcommittees will develop action plans 
for their assigned tasks; (7) public comment. All Province Advisory 
Committee meetings are open to the public.
