Conner Forest Industries, Inc., Wakefield, Michigan; Notice of 
Termination of Investigation

    Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, an investigation 
was initiated on July 6, 1998, in response to a petition by a company 
official filed on the same date on behalf of workers at Conner Forest 
Industries, Inc., Wakefield, Michigan.
    A certification applicable to the petitioning group of workers, 
employed at Conner Forest Industries, Inc., Wakefield, Michigan, was 
issued on September 12, 1996, and is currently in effect (TA-W-32,593). 
Consequently, further investigation in this case would serve no 
purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.
